Blēo – a new paint and tile brand from Copenhagen – makes high-quality pigment in artful palettes created by your favourite architects and designers.
Founder Anne Grønskov launched Blēo in 2024. She is a woman well-versed in design-led products that connect with contemporary living, having worked for Reform kitchens and Common Seating. Grønskov’s expertise in editorial and brand communication has evolved into the refined aesthetic and commercial clarity that defines Blēo. The concept is both stimulating and practical: high-quality design is made more accessible, bringing the eye of creative visionaries into your home and cultivating a more joyful everyday environment.
The main catalogue of Blēo paints is crafted in considered tones and delivered in airtight biodegradable boxes with an easy-to-use screw top. Collections are punctuated throughout the year with an exciting roster of world-renowned creatives who bring their unique palettes to Blēo, reflecting their own practice, inspirations, and style.
Following paint, tile is the next surface Blēo is exploring, launching with a textured and brilliantly glossy collection from Muller Van Severen. Patter recommends you get your grout and sponge ready: over the next year, Blēo will be launching tile collections with Sabine Marcelis, Halleroed, John Pawson, Norm Architects, Griegst, and Conie Vallese.
