An artist friend tipped us off about Rendez-Vous Store, and as soon as we began scrolling – and bookmarking – it made sense the store had captured her attention. The buy leans to an artistic point of view – there’s loose fits, off-beat details and colours that feel considered.

The stockist list is a thoughtful roster of contemporary designers including Sophie D’Hoore, Wright & Doyle, Casey Casey, Sara Lanzi, Tanaka and Auralee.

Rendez-Vous Store is based in Le Carmes in central Toulouse, with a smaller outpost now open in Paris. The store was imagined by Marc Llorens and Olivier Salette, who wanted to create a business away from the fashion industry noise, with a steadier pace that lends itself to real life. This sentiment extends to the shop’s name and its purpose. It’s a space where friends can meet, talk, and be together.
