Autumn’s sounds include the smooth vocals of Syd (tha Kyd) from R&B band The Internet – the low-fi 90s-esq video for La Di Da is worth a watch for the band’s style alone. British musician Tirzah Mastin provides heartfelt imperfections with her track Holding On, produced by her friend Mica Levi. Swedish icon Neneh Cherry has a new album out entitled Broken Politics, we selected Kong as our penultimate track with synthesized piano by Massive Attack’s 3D. We end with the magical unreleased 1970s demo from Ohio soul band Penny & the Quarters.
