Patter Playlist — by J+J Musique Factory

11-07-2018culture

Our monthly playlist of important female artists and their songs for right now.

Compiled by our friends at J+J Musique Factory, this month’s playlist features back-to-back club classics, taking us from Paradise Garage-era disco to ’90s house, and kicking off with the synth-heavy dance-pop of ’80s legend Alisha singing ‘Too Turned On’. Relive the hot summer sounds of New York dance music in its heyday with Larry Levan’s remix of soul icon Gwen Guthrie’s ‘Seventh Heaven’, the David Morales dance floor-filling version of ‘Don’t Lose The Magic’ by Shawn Christopher, and ‘The Boss’ from sister act The Braxtons – courtesy of mythical NYC house producers Masters At Work. Sitting still is not an option.
