Once, while wandering the aisles of Le Bon Marché’s food hall in Paris, we spotted a woman on a swift post-work grocery shop — a beautifully cut oversized blazer, crumpled by her day, worn over baggy jeans with lived-in hair, and simple trainers. She looked so chic. It’s a sighting that has stayed with us whenever we’re in search of a blazer.

We’ve always been partial to an outfit for an errand.
